One of America's favourite wheated whiskies is celebrating the Millennium 24 years in, or perhaps its just 976 years early?

Who knows! 

Regardless, Weller, named after American whiskey pioneer William Larue Weller, and produced at Sazerac's Buffalo Trace Distillery, is ready to release a Millennium edition, that will be 99 Proof and is a blend of straight whiskies from several vintages.

The Weller Millennium blend is made of:

• 2000 Vintage - 3%

• 2003 Vintage - 50%

• 2005 Vintage - 40% 

• 2006 Vintage - 7%
