We have selected five single malts across different regions of Scotland, that exhibit a colourful variety of flavour nuances and distillery character.
Kingsbarns introduces friendly florals and grassiness of the Lowland region, with some depth to keep things interesting. Dramatic differences of styles in the tiny Speyside region can be tasted from the rich and nutty Aberlour as compared to the sweet, zesty and ashy Benriach. Smoky barbecued rib notes that the Islay region is famous for is shown in this dram of Ardbeg. Finally, the robust, fruity and savoury Springbank embodies the quintessential flavour profile of the Campbeltown region that was almost lost to history.
