Flavour Profile: Rich and Round
This limited release is Bunnahabhain’s first ever foray into Portuguese Port wine casks.
Rich milk chocolate notes and good smoothness despite a high alcohol content. On the nose: baked raspberry tart and strawberry jam with mildly spicy cinnamon and star anise- reminiscent of hot mulled wine. On the palate: mild sweetness with dominant notes of milk chocolate Neapolitan squares. Light caramel and coconut flavours. The finish: long and smooth with fading chocolate notes and very slight peatiness.
