Flavour Profile: Smokey and Peaty
Matured in expensive “genuine sherry” casks from a renowned winery in the Jerez region of Spain. Bruichladdich spared no expense in creating this beast.
Very well-balanced and complex. Not just another smokey sherry bomb. On the nose: hefty smoke developing into plums, apricots and orange chocolate. On the palate: intense smoke and rich sherry flavours, complemented by slightly salty roasted sunflower seeds. Mild fruit sweetness with cherry jam and peaches. The finish: long with fading smoke, leather and a touch of tobacco.
