This bottle comes from Volume 4: Sakura and Rice, which showcases Suntory's use of Sakura cask maturation and Rice as a base for fermenting whisky. You might perceptively wonder, isn't Rice alcohol called Sake? Precisely, why this bottle remains so sought after. Suntory used whisky production methods to treat Rice grains to produce this groundbreaking release. 

The Suntory Rice Whisky produces a clean, crisp and highly aromatic nose reminiscent of Sake. There are bright, sweet notes of peaches, nectarines and plumerias. There is also a touch of ginger spice, yet on the palate, you'll find the expression soft and delicate. Pillowy soft marshmallows, peaches and cream, jasmine green tea and even some tropical notes or pineapple and mangoes. Delightfully sweet and fruity. The finish is refreshingly clean and crisp.

A gorgeous painting commissioned specially for this release adorns the label of the bottle as well.
