Flavour Profile: Malty and Dry
A play on Magritte's famous “This is not a pipe”, and a limited edition bottling from the rockstar anti-establishment independent bottler highly respected for its innovative processes in creating blended whiskies.
This is a blend of four single malts and two single grains of varying styles coming from different regions of Scotland: from Speyside, the Highlands, Islay and the Lowlands.
Full on flavour and complexity with subtle peat balanced by an even maltiness. On the nose: refined and perfumed fruitiness with substantial cereal and freshly-baked baguette bread. On the palate: cereal and dried barley notes backed by a very subtle gentle smokiness with camphorous and mentholated Tiger Balm notes that fill your nostrils. Minor component of ginseng flakes. The finish: long and elegant with lingering banana and vanilla.
