Flavour Profile: Fruity and Spicy

A small batch release from Kentucky distillers who helped create a class of premium American whiskey that revived the bourbon industry in 1984. Matured in a highly insulated warehouse that helps create a rich and intense product.

Rich texture, bold flavours but with smoothness uncommon to high-proof bourbon. Surprisingly gentle on the nose: campfire-toasted marshmallows with vanilla, subtle rum & raisin and candied oranges. On the palate: solid weight with intense sweetness and heat with cinnamon, maple syrup, ripe red apples and buttery apple pie crust. The finish: very long with lingering heat and fading vanilla-cinnamon spice.
