This was textbook Foursquare, but what really elevated it was the late bloomer of a peach. Utter fruit bomb, spectacular stuff. Bajan magic, I tell you.

Colour: Tawny, Pancake Syrup

On the nose: Nice light grassiness, rich notes of blackcurrant, plum juice, milk chocolate with maraschino cherries. Caramel sauce and cinnamon. The nose is surprisingly gentle, rounded and rich. Aeration unveils heaps of delightful and perfumery Momo (Japanese peach) opens up.

On the palate: Smooth, rounded, almost syrupy in texture, it remains very articulate and well-bounded; the textural sensation of maltose candy on the palate. Classic sarsaparilla notes, cola fizz gummies, light herbaceous touches of mint and Tortoise jelly. Loads of ripe fruitiness, fresh Japanese peaches, Kyoho grapes, also apple, orange and strawberry fruit jelly cups. Confectionary-like but very fresh.

The finish is: Long; some light touches of baking spices, with cinnamon.
