Mars's Iwai is a blended Japanese whisky distilled at the Mars Shinshu Distillery, which is located in Nagano Prefecture at 798 meters above sea level. The environment of Shinshu Distillery is surrounded by granitic soil with a crystal clear water source, a perfect source of mineral water for good whisky production.
The Iwai collection is named after the creator of Mars distillery, Kiichiro Iwai, who is also the former mentor of Masataka Takesturu. This limited release is smooth with plenty of aromatic sandalwood, bright florals, and layered floral notes of honey and Jasmine green tea.
