Whisky Journey, Singapore’s largest whisky-dedicated exhibition, returns for its fifth edition on 27 and 28 November 2026 at Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Centre, promising its most exciting edition yet. Following last year’s successful event, Whisky Journey 2026 raises the bar with its most diverse international line-up yet, bringing together whiskies from Scotland, Ireland, Japan, the United States, China, Australia and beyond. From renowned distilleries and sought-after expressions to emerging producers, regional debuts and brands rarely seen in Singapore, this year’s edition opens up an even bigger world of whisky discovery, while strengthening Whisky Journey’s position as Singapore’s leading show for whisky discovery, education, trade and industry collaboration.
At the heart of Whisky Journey is a commitment to making the world of whisky more accessible than ever. Visitors can explore renowned distilleries, emerging producers and exciting new expressions from around the world — all under one roof.
Attendees can enjoy complimentary tastings, with additional drams from just S$2 per pour, alongside rare, highly aged, limited-edition and sought-after expressions seldom available by the dram, with selected drams starting from just S$6. Across the two-day event, attendees can also enjoy event-exclusive promotions, special bundle offers and limited-time bottle deals, offering exceptional whiskies at some of the most accessible prices in Singapore.
While Scotch and Irish whiskey have traditionally commanded much of the attention among Southeast Asian whisky drinkers, Whisky Journey 2026 is widening the lens to explore the depth, diversity and heritage of American whiskey — from the rich sweetness of bourbon to the spice and dryness of rye. Attendees can discover Eagle Rare, a Kentucky straight bourbon aged for at least 10 years; the highly coveted Weller, celebrated for its softer, wheated style; and Sazerac Rye, distinguished by its lively spice and peppery character.
American whiskey has roots in Scottish and Irish immigrants who brought their distilling knowledge across the Atlantic, but it soon evolved around America’s own geography and agriculture. Rye flourished in Pennsylvania and Maryland, while corn became increasingly important further south and west, eventually defining bourbon. This grain-led evolution shaped the diversity of American whiskey today with rye bringing spice and dryness, and corn contributing sweetness and body. Through these celebrated expressions, Whisky Journey 2026 gives enthusiasts a taste of the depth and character of American whiskey.
A Whisky Journey Beyond the Familiar
The exploration does not stop in America. Whisky Journey 2026 continues its journey across the global whisky map, bringing visitors closer to emerging regions, pioneering brands and new approaches rarely encountered in Singapore. China’s rapidly evolving whisky scene takes centre stage through Chun’an Malt Whisky Distillery and The Chuan Malt Whisky Distillery, two producers combining international whisky-making expertise with a distinctly Chinese sense of place.
On the shores of Qiandao Lake, Angus Dundee Distillers’ Chun’an brings generations of Scottish whisky-making experience to China, with its spirit matured in natural mountain caves that offer an environment unlike that of Scotland’s traditional warehouses. Further west, in the foothills of Sichuan’s Mount Emei, Pernod Ricard’s The Chuan Malt Whisky Distillery, led by Master Distiller Dr Yang Tao, is exploring what a distinctly Chinese whisky can be. Its approach brings together maturation in American bourbon and Spanish sherry casks with the use of Chinese oak, placing local provenance at the heart of its whisky. Together, they signal a new era of Chinese whisky—where heritage meets innovation, and every dram tells a story of place.
The journey ventures further with LARK Whisky, marking the first Australian whisky at Whisky Journey. A pioneer of Tasmania’s modern whisky movement since 1992, LARK represents a region now recognized for its distinctive small-batch spirits and strong sense of provenance. Tasmania's unique “whisky super-climate” with hot summers, cold winters and sharp seasonal shifts creates more active maturation. The result is deeper flavour extraction and rich, characterful whiskies that have helped put Tasmania firmly on the global whisky map. Returning to Scotland but with a different perspective, Edinburghbased Woven reimagines the centuries-old craft of Scotch blending through bold, creative combinations of carefully selected whiskies.
Introducing Unrepresented Whisky Brands to Singapore
One of Whisky Journey 2026's key draws is its strongest showcase yet of emerging and unrepresented whisky brands, with many making their Singapore and regional debut. From new distilleries and independent bottlers to producers challenging traditional approaches to whisky, the line-up gives enthusiasts access to names and stories rarely encountered in the region. Beyond introducing exciting new whiskies to consumers, the event also serves as a platform for international brands to engage with potential distributors and trade partners in Singapore and Southeast Asia, creating valuable opportunities to expand into new markets, forge commercial partnerships and strengthen the whisky ecosystem for brands, distributors and consumers alike.
Among the names to discover is Lerwick Distillery, pioneering single malt whisky from the remote Shetland Islands under Master Distiller Ian Millar, and Isle of Harris Distillery, whose award-winning spirits capture the people, landscapes and maritime heritage of Scotland’s Outer Hebrides. From Islay, Ardnahoe Distillery showcases its mediumpeated, fruit-forward spirit, while England’s The Lakes Distillery stands apart through the art of élevage, actively moving whisky between casks to develop greater depth and complexity.
Bringing fresh perspectives to the line-up are brands that push whisky beyond the liquid itself. River Rock, the self-described “wonky” single malt, combines approachable Highland whisky with one-of-a-kind bottles hand-sculpted from recycled glass, while FABLE Whisky is an independent bottler that transforms its single-cask releases into chapters of Scottish folklore through animation, illustration and immersive storytelling.
Together, this year’s line-up of brands showcases the diversity and innovation shaping today’s whisky landscape, giving attendees the opportunity to discover new regions, distinctive approaches and global whisky names rarely found elsewhere in Singapore.
Ultimately, Whisky Journey 2026 cements its position as the go-to place in town to explore, taste and learn more about whisky. With more than 300 types of whiskies from around the world, complimentary drams as well as master distillers, makers and industry experts gathered under one roof, the show offers an accessible way for newcomers and seasoned enthusiasts alike to discover new expressions and deepen their appreciation of whisky. Arriving just ahead of the festive season, event-only bundle deals and offers, Whisky Journey exclusive bottlings and exceptional prices on rare and aged bottles also make it an ideal destination to find something special, whether for gifting or adding to one’s own collection.
