Love this #stmagdalene 23yo 1970 from the #raremaltsselection very much.

Again this is a silent lowland distillery, what a pity😶

Nosing is so rich and complex, some soy sauce upfront? Light gunpowder and sulphuric, becoming syrup afterwards, hints of stones fruit and light smoke.

Palate is so powerful and muscular, meaty and marble syrup again!

I suggest to add some 💦to release the flavor, more ripen 🍍 coming out in the nosing, clove and zesty! More and more sweet spices in the palate too!

Finish is so long and warm. Better after the water🌟🌟

Is this a #lowlandwhisky?? Really beyond my expectations 😮
