Altbier, Red Dot Craft Brewing, 5.5% ABV

Altbier

It's interesting to find a beer which is a style that originates from a specific place. While traveling is kind of banned at the moment, such specialty beers provide some snippets of that country/town through the beer that you taste.
In this case, it's a town located in Germany - Dusseldorf. The consistent weather in this area provided the perfect condition for this beer to be fermented at a cooler temperature than most ales and then subsequently aged at a cooler temperature than in the fermentation process to give its lager properties.

Dusseldorf has an old town (Altstadt) where it's famous for its famed longest bar in the world where it's said that there are 300+ bars that has their bar counters connected to each other or legend has it since they didn't win the Guinness world of records.

This beer was definitely very drinkable, the copper brown body was an aesthetic plus point. It has a nutty caramel, crisp clean taste. Absolutely drinkable and thirst quencher! 😁
