Cottonmouth | Garage Project
Milkshake Sour | ABV 8.0%
Pours a thin hibiscus shade, very purple with a splash of pink. Liquid blueberry this is, and someone threw in buckets of blue cotton candy - this sour gives a wicked sugar rush at the start. It's almost like a very sweet tea brewed with blueberries and candied lemon peels.
Subtle citrusy notes balance out the sweetness of the cotton candy fluff but there's a weird back profile at the end that I can't decipher. Slight bitterness that's sticky, and a lil danky. This is taboo in craft beer (I'm so SO sorry but I have to put this out there because I might look back and do this in the future) but if I want to retain the taste profile and make it extra refreshing and boozy, I'll throw in some ice and add in some lemon & mint, maybe a shot of gin 🥴
