Harvest Ale Pale Ale, Crust Singapore, 4.5% ABV

Had always wanted to get the chance to try the craft beer from Crust. Established quite recently (I believe) with a goal to reduce food waste, it is better known for using bread (which will otherwise go to waste) as part of its beer recipe. Hence the reason why I took some photos of the beer with the sour dough bread (made by the missus) but only realized that actually this beer they made didn't contain bread. So just treat as free advertising lah.

This pale ale was made with surplus pumpkin and quinoa from @goodfoodpeoplesg. Pour out with a pale yellow body with a little pumpkin aroma. Quinoa is also a good substitute/replacement for malt from what I read and I wouldn't have thought it was brewed with a different base. It's more bitter than a normal pale ale, slightly dry with a crisp finish. I think with the ingredients i think a pumpkin ale (with cinnamon spice) would also be an interesting take.

Also, I think alot of the labels don't rally mention the beer style, so I'm actually guessing this is Pale ale. Hopefully this can be added in the future!
