Huck, an imperial IPA by Thornbridge Brewery. 7.4% ABV

In this you’ll find Mosaic, Simcoe, and Amarillo hops, a generous portion of which has been added in the whirlpool.

At 7.4% you might think this is a bit under strength since contemporary DIPAs usually weigh in at upwards of 8%, but don’t obsess over the numbers: it more than makes up for it with an old-school kind of West Coast IPA bitterness that you’re definitely going to feel.

Finishes dry. Lovely.
