Muromachi Saison | Nishijin Beer Specialty Saison | ABV 5.5%
Imagine wheatgrass (the green juice), but literally blended haystacks that were left out under the sun and grapefruit zest. Easy-drinking but in terms of flavours, I feel it lacks depth. I would've expected something slightly funkier, earthy, soil, dirty, a flavour profile geared more towards the usual saisons/farmhouse ales. But that's just me, and maybe it's more approachable for beginners.
Poured this for my dad because he wanted to pair it with our 卤肉饭 dinner.
His unfiltered review: "Very dry, not fruity at all, I don't know how to feel about this leh. Can we split this beer 50-50?" 🙄
