It was a toss up between U2’s The Unforgettable Fire and Van Halen for this reel, but Diamond Dave and gang won in the end… even though San Diego is SoCal and Pasadena is NorCal. This dry-hopped marvel will indeed have you hanging ten as you ride its sonic wave with flavours of citrus and overripe tropical fruit. The rich malt backbone keeps things together in ways that hazies just don’t. Finishes bitter enough for long time fans of the brewery and the style.

I must shout-out @wheelswheelsandmeals for bigging up breweries like Green Flash way back when I knew nothing about craft beer. Good recommendation, good brewery, and good beer.
