Tiger Radler White Grape

Β

As always, as a sucker for limited editions and seasonals, I can't stop myself from getting this after seeing it on the supermarket shelf. Though I managed to convince myself to get just 1 bottle to try from @redmartbylazada instead of buying in a pack of 6 (which is available in most main supermarkets).

To be honest, I wasn't expecting too much as white grape flavours are pretty common (think Taiwan beer and Horoyoi). Before having this, I was already downplaying it as I imagine it to be sweet and possibly one dimensional like horoyoi.

Poured with a hazy pale whitish kind of body, this turned out to be surprising good. For some reason, it didn't immediately remind me of white grape but a cross between lime and pomelo with a good balance of the beer so that it didn't turn out just 'candy sweet'. The white grape actually came later as an after taste which was delightful after the limish bitter on the front.
