Meet Cravan: Moët Hennessy's New Five-Story Paris Cocktail Bar

Located right in the heart of Paris' Saint-Germain-des-Présles, housed in a 17th century building, is Moët Hennessy's first ever cocktail bar, CRAVAN.

CRAVAN was launched in celebration of French art de vivre, and is a grand five-storied cocktail bar designed by Belgian designer Ramy Fischler. It marks the spirits conglomerate's first foray into cocktail bars, and could mark the start of LVMH's expansion into the broader hospitality industry.

Guests to CRAVAN can expect three unique cocktail bars, spread across five floors of varied and unique ambiances, each drawing inspiration from art, fashion, cinema and literature. CRAVAN also includes a library in partnership with Rizzoli NY. The top floor of CRAVAN features an exclusive invitation-only private atelier and a mini Parisian kiosk on the building's rooftop - built for private movie screenings on warm summer nights.

Philippe Schaus, Chairman and CEO of Moët Hennessy said: “It is with great pride that we open today the doors of CRAVAN, bringing to life Moët Hennessy’s mission: crafting experiences. I am delighted to start welcoming our guests at the heart of historical literary neighborhood of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, inviting them to step into the unique and singular universe of CRAVAN. Celebrating epicureanism through a sustainable, lasting and inspired approach of hospitality, CRAVAN is a strategic milestone in Moët Hennessy’s ambition to lead the future of luxury wines and spirits.”

CRAVAN was created in collaboration between Moet Hennessy and restauranteur and cocktail expert Franck Audoux, the new bar's founder and Artistic Director.

Cravan is named after Arthur Cravan (1887-1918), a poet and a boxer, a well-known devotee of Dadaism and an inspiring figure for Franck Audoux. A "free-spirit", ahead of his time, Cravan was notoriously irreverent.

Cravan is officially open to public from June 24th 2023. Operating hours are Tuesday to Saturday from 5pm to 2am. The new bar is located at 165 boulevard Saint-Germain, 6th arrondissement.
