📍Ginger.Lily

Located in the Hilton, Ginger.Lily is one of those hotel bars that one can visit anytime! It’s primarily a high tea and dessert place but offers a selection of botanical-inspired cocktails which range from reimagined classics to unique originals. The bar was split into sections for high tea, dining and a speakeasy bar area so guests with different preferences can be accommodated for. The level service and hospitality matched the quality of the drinks and made for a lovely experience!

Here’s what we ordered:

🥂 In Full Bloom: Rinquinquin Aperitif, London Essence Bitter Orange Elderflower Tonic, Freshly selected fruits and herbs

The standout feature of this drink was the clever presentation: served from a flask containing the ingredients and an assortment of fruits, the flavours were subtle and very refreshing. The citrus doesnt overpower the drink and is reminiscent of an infused tonic.

🥂 Kokum Spice: Ceylon Arrack, Honey Kokum Syrup, Lemon, Aquafaba

This is another drink that aligns with the multi-sensorial experience that the bar offers. The edible smoke made it one of the most aromatic drinks we’ve tasted. The kokum plant flavour gives it a herbal flavour profile with a boozy kick which was unlike anything we’ve tried before!
