Hokkaido's answer to Scotland's Islay, Akkeshi Distillery, continues on its journey to complete the 24 seasons of a the Japanese calendar, with its 10th expression - the Shoman World Blended Whisky.
"Shoman" ("Nature Thrives") is the 8th season in the 24 "Sekki" seasons - it is the second season in Summer or when "The season when the weather becomes fine and everything starts to go well."
