Japan's answer to Scotland's Islay, Akkeshi Distillery, continues on their series mirroring the 24 seasons of Japan's calendar year, with a new peated single malt Japanese whisky - Hakuro, or Glistening White Dew, that is due to be released soon.

As Akkeshi alternates releases between their single malt Japanese whisky and a world blended expression, this new release which reflects the 15th season of the Japanese calendar, will be a much anticipated single malt from the distillery.

It is bottled at 55% ABV. More details to come!
