Rejoice! Heinz and Absolut have returned to make their viral tomato pasta sauce. Announced on 01 Jul, the sauce will first hit UK's Waitrose supermarkets. 

Now, before you think us stark raving mad, this isn't the first time the two have collaborated on something like this. The last time the sauce hit shelves was in 2021, initially inspired by none other than superstar Gigi Hadid. 

Here's a little context for those that might have missed it: Gigi Hadid came up with and showcased a pasta alla vodka recipe, which had taken TikTok by storm. Already on a roll with some (eyebrow-raising) releases such as “Hanch,” “Tarchup” and “Wasabioli", Heinz was clearly eager to see what they could come up with next. 

Oddly enough, the sauce took the world by storm. It was apparently something that everyone didn't know they needed. Their social media posts racked up over 500 million impressions, while jars flew off shelves and were gone in four days. 

Available online at £2.50 (US $3.20) per jar, it'll also be available through other retailers in the UK this autumn, although international fans might have to keep their eyes peeled for the time being.
