You know him as the dark humor, witty yet deadly Deadpool, amongst a laundry list of acting credits, but more recently as the face of Aviation Gin. Ryan Reynolds, who co-owned the American gin brand alongside Davos Brands until Diageo's acquisition in 2020, is now unveiling a 33,000 square foot space in Portland, Oregon, which will be the home of Aviation Gin.
The new facility will feature a tasting room, a draft cocktail bar and a gift shop, as well as an experience inside Reynolds' "office", which doubles as an escape room. Visitors can also learn more about the brand's distillation process, which is headed up by distillery director Hollie Stephenson. Visitor tours, as well as tasting flights and seasonal draft cocktails will be offered at the facility.
“About three years ago, we set out to create a one-of-a-kind distillery and tasting experience to give people the opportunity to get a look at how we make the world’s greatest spirit – Aviation American Gin, that is,
We’re thrilled to announce that the Aviation American Gin Distillery is officially open for business in Portland, Oregon, and everyone (21 years and older) is welcome.
If a grown-up theme park and a bartender fell in love and produced offspring, it would be this gin factory.”

Tours will be held in groups of no more than 12 visitors and will cost US$28 per person, and will include a guided tasting.
