Popular UK gin brand Whitley Neill Gin is hiding £25,000 worth of diamonds in fifteen special bottles of its Distillers' Cut London Dry Gin.
To mark eight generations of distilling, Whitley Neill will be including a hidden diamond engraving in the corks of the bottles of its Distillers' Cut Gin. The lucky consumers who find out of the fifteen will get to keep the ethical diamonds, each with size of at least 0.4 carat. Winners will also get to enjoy a complimentary jewellery service allowing them to embed the diamond into any item of their choosing.
Johnny Neill, founder of Whitley Neill, said:
“As a family brand, whose distilling knowledge has been passed down through eight generations, we value the importance of heritage and legacy. This is reflected in the creation of our Distiller’s Cut London Dry Gin, which boasts a quintessential, classic London Dry recipe that has truly stood the test of time. With this in mind, we want to help the nation keep their own traditions alive and give them the opportunity to have something to pass down to others."
The idea for this campaign was born from the brand's desire to rekindle the tradition of passing down heirlooms to one's family or friends. The brand conducted a survey of 2,000 adult in the UK via OnePoll, in which most respondents chose jewellery as their top choice for a type of heirloom to pass down.
The competition will be running from now until 11.59pm on Thursday August 31, 2023. If you happen to be one of the lucky winners, send a picture of the cork and serial number to diamondcompetition@whitleyneillgin.com! Good luck!
