On the nose is lots of vanilla, hints of apple cider vinegar, and some funk. On the palate you get some light smokiness, bitterness, slightly herbal. Despite the initial heat, it eases in gently into a soft and smooth rum, possibly balanced out by the aging in the cognac casks!
