Gasanryu 雅山流 別誂 Junmai Ginjo 純米吟醸 六花 60% Seimai Buai

Rice - Dewanosato 出羽の里 🌾
Prefecture - Yamagata 山形県
Brewery - Shindo Sake Brewery 新藤酒造店
Alcohol - 14%
Color - Light Yellow
Aroma - 🍚, 🍌, 🍈, Muscat Grape
Taste - Light
Umami - Light
First impression - Lively
Body - Medium
Sweetness - Medium Dry
Tail/length - Medium
🍈 🍈 🍈 🍌 🍌 🍌
Notes - Brewed with Yamagata Prefecture’s sake brewing 🌾, Dewanosato, the taste is rounded and full in the mouth. Flowery notes revolving around the back of the throat and finishing off with a bitter aftertaste. There is also a mild 🍌 cake reminiscent after every sip.

For food pairing, I will suggest some light snacks of curry puff or spicy chicken wings or even hot & spicy chips (which is what I paired with) as the medium length of the sake will balance the strong taste of the snacks without the snacks overpowering the taste of the 🍶. You will still be able to taste the 🍶 after every bite. I also decided to try the 🍶 hot to experience what the change in taste was and was surprised that the 🍌 and 🍚 aroma became stronger and the taste fuller and more rounded. I have to say that I enjoy this 🍶 more when it was heated up to around 50c.

Overall, this is a nice 🍶. ♨️♨️♨️
