This sake was made with apple yeast. A relatively straight forward sake, and also one that makes for a very enjoyable session.
You can definitely expect aromas and tasting notes of Apple. However, I got envy apples, not fuji, which I was hoping for. Just sweet enough, with a short-medium off-dry finish creating a delicate balance.
This medium-bodied sake is probably best drank with a wine glass to help open up the flavours. While, I didnโt the chance to try it with an ochoko ๐ถ. The flavors open up just right in the wine glass, with that subtle fizz you get from a fresh bottle of namazake.
Some days, you just want something easy and enjoyable. ๐
