Rice - Yamadanishiki 山田锦🌾 Prefecture - Iwate 岩手県 Brewery - Nanbu Bijin Brewery Alcohol - Below 17% Color - Light Yellow Aroma - 🍓, 🍑, 🍐 Taste - Medium Umami - Medium First impression - Lively Body - Medium Sweetness - Medium Sweet Tail/length - Medium Overall - Another bottle of Nanbu Bijin sake. This time a Junmai Daiginjo Shinpaku made with 100% Yamadanishiki 🌾. Full of fruity aroma consisting of strawberry, peach and pear. The taste is medium with medium umami. This is a medium sweet sake and the medium body balances the sweetness nicely. The medium tail and umami is just nice to pair with stronger flavor food like Japanese curry or beef stew. Recommend to drink it chilled around hanabie to suzuhie temp (10-15C). A nice and affordable Junmai Daiginjo sake to try. Overall, this is a good sake.
