Overall - A canned 🍶 from Nihonsakari 日本盛. This time trying a Namagenshu Junmai Ginjo. Nama 生酒meaning not pasteurized (normal 🍶are pasteurized twice) and Genshu 原酒meaning undiluted with no alcohol added. Very fragrant aroma with strong notes of 🍏, 🍌 and vanilla. A 🍶that is light in taste and body which greatly compliments the fruity aroma. With a medium length aftertaste, it kind of makes you want to drink more of it. Personally I like genshu 原酒 pretty much typically because it is undiluted and you can taste the aroma of the 🌾. Although this is undiluted, the alcohol % is lesser than its 2 brothers (Honjozo and Daiginjo) which is not typical for a genshu. However I think that is what makes it special and well balanced. Being a Nama, you definitely have to drink it super chilled which I did. I didn’t pair it with any food except with my Calbee 🔥&🌶 🥔 chips. I just felt like having an after meal drink. The thing about this 🍶which I really like is that it is only 200ml which is about 1 wine glass full. Easy to finish without worrying of leftover and also to stop me from over drinking. Overall, this is a very good 🍶. 👍
