Notes - This is 1 of 2 from the premium Zaku series and comes from the Buddhist teaching that even in just a single drop of 💦, the immense life-giving value of 💦 remains unchanged. Smooth and soft in the mouth with extreme delicacy resembling bathing in gentle morning ☀️. Clean and refreshing on the palate with low astringency. Bursting with fresh 🍍 aroma and finishing off clean with a slightly dry bitter grapefruit aftertaste.
Personally I have always enjoy aruten sake (brewer alcohol added) as the fruity aroma are more amplified and the texture is slight heavier and more pronounced. Decided to pair with chicken satay (chicken skewers) with lots of 🥜 sauce as the 🍶 is slightly on the medium dry side which I know will kind of keep my palate clean and reset it after every sip. This is always a good thing if the food is richer in flavor as each reset of the palate will make the flavor of the food feel more refresh.
I have since tried both the Kaizan Ittekisui and this and both have their own characteristics and profile which will target different groups of 🍶 lovers. However, I’m leaning more towards the Youzan Ittekisui for the mere fact that it is more aromatic and robust as compared to Kaizan Ittekisui but both are awesome 🍶 nevertheless. Zaku has always been my standard go to 🍶 if I am spoilt for choices and I’m sure one can never go too wrong with a Zaku. 💥 💥 💥
