Bees by Narisawa Opens Singapore Outlet In Mandala Club, With 700-Strong Wine List and Masuizumi Sake
Here's yet another reason to flock to Singapore this August. Acclaimed Japanese chef Yoshihiro Narisawa, the No. 1 chef from Asia’s 50 Best and World’s 50 Best Restaurants lists, is set to open the second global outpost of BEES by NARISAWA in Singapore this August.
Highlighting the strong connection between his diners and nature, chef Yoshihiro Narisawa is a visionary in gastronomy as he crafts his cuisine with reference and expression of terroir and nature’s many wonders. Through his distinctive 'Innovative Satoyama' cuisine, Chef Yoshihiro Narisawa has earned two Michelin stars and has been a perennial favorite on the World's 50 Best Restaurants list since 2008. He was also awarded the Chef's Choice Award in 2018. BEES by NARISAWA marks the celebrated chef’s second global dining establishment outside of his Tokyo home in 20 years, after opening NARISAWA Shanghai in August 2023.
The Singapore outlet of BEES by NARISAWA will be located in Mandala Club, a private members club that strives to construct ‘meaningful connections that matter’. From 19 August until October 2024, BEES by NARISAWA will hold an intimate pre-opening pop up that is available for members of the public to attend, with a permanent location soon-to-open exclusively for Mandala Club members in October 2024.
BEES by NARISAWA is renowned for a cusiine that reinterprets Japanese street culture for modern palates with the chef’s unique touches. The menu features thoughtfully elevated dishes using sustainable Japanese produce, European cooking techniques, charcoal-grilled meats, and meticulously sourced seafood.
The experience includes a 700-bottle wine list of terroir-driven Old World labels, an exceptional array of Dom Perignon Champagnes, and exclusive hand-brewed sake from Masuizumi by Masuda Sake Company. Notably, Masuda sake is the only sake served by NARISAWA globally, emphasizing the chef's dedication to quality and exclusivity.
Elements of street culture such as music, art, and fashion will undergo a contemporary, irreverent twist to enhance a relaxing ambience for this truly one-of-a-kind dining experience.
"After working harmoniously with Ben Jones and the Mandala Club team in 2023, I'm proud to return with my new concept, showcasing my interpretation of street culture from my native Japan," said Chef Yoshihiro Narisawa, NARISAWA on his new collaboration with Mandala Club.
Bookings for the five-week pre-opening will open from August 5. Head to Mandala Club website for more information here.
