Aultmore 1990, The Single Cask Ltd., 22 years, Cask No. 5915, 80 bottles, 52.9% abv.

The Single Cask is a whisky bar in Singapore that also bottles under their own label, "The Single Cask" with varying names from "The Malt Vault" and "Single Malt Vault". They tend to focus on lesser known whiskies.

Nose: a little bit of alcohol spice, slight fruits.

Palate: vibrating bitterness, slight woody, hint of young tofu, light honey.

Finish: short, abv spice.

Interesting dram, but other than intensity there is not much going on. After the grains, I'm impressed that this dram could fight through the sweetness. I can only surmise it must have been amazing. Perhaps I'll try another time. Had this at Bar 31B, Seoul, South Korea. Such an interesting place.
