Fire Bringer, Caol Ila 9 years bottled 2015. Tomomi Kobayashi. Chosen by Shinanoya to commemorate the 25th anniversary of SaGa (video game). Nose: smokey and some sort of sweetness. After 5 minutes the smokey elements totally disappeared, only sweet notes. Palate: smoke that becomes more intense with every taste, slight wood, spice gets stronger with time. Finish: long, initial light smoke, wood becomes more and more pronounced, then light old leather. Had this at Bar Higuchi.
