Glendronach 18 Alllardice, 46% abv.
Supposedly the name "Allardice" comes from “Allardes,” of James Allardes, which is the last name of the founder of the Glendronach distillery.
Nose: sherry honey, slight raisins, dried cherries.
Palate: dry, good body, spicey, some old steamed lotus leaves.
Finish: moderate, spicey.
It's got that sherry cask profile, seems better than the other non-single cask glendronachs I've tried. Overall a pretty good dram. Prefer this over the GD15 revivals I've had and it seems more balanced than the GD21 parliaments I've tried. Had this at @wood_side_bar in Seomyeon, Busan.
Grade: C+
