#bottlekillingseason will not be stopped. The only dry in my #dryjanuary is the bottom of the bottle.
Here in its death throes, I again reflect how well Jura 10 punches above its weight class. From first sip to last, I thought this scotch packs more smoke and flavor than the standard Glenlivet/Glenfiddich/Glenmorangie triumvirate bottles in the same price range. I additionally gave it the hard task of living on my shelf next to single malt titans like Highland Park Cask Strength and Lagavulin 16, and it acquitted itself admirably. I’d love to see a higher proof and/or longer aged Jura to see what their team can really put together, but for now, I can’t recommend Jura 10 as an intro single malt enough.
