Ledaig 2005 Cask 900159 - 11 year old

Nose: Wonderful full aroma of smokiness, peatiness with vanilla and caramel, sherry shinning up a bit but not the sweetness, fruitiness, campfire,complex and yet very full.

Palate: Full intense mouth watering, light sharpness of pepper, a little bit of bitterness, aromatic smoke covering vanilla and oranges, hint of marmalade, not so sweet as typical sherry casked, wonderful.

Finishing: Long, dry, spicy, pepper, salty smokiness. Beautiful in balance.
