Caprese Martini
2 oz olive oil washed Tito's Vodka
.5 oz Martini extra dry vermouth
.5 oz tomato water
2 or 3 Basil leaves
shake, strain, garnish with a mini caprese salad.
I'm back in the states for the summer and visiting my mom. When I was a kid my mom would always serve caprese salad with dinner, usually on our back porch. It's been one of my favorites since. So this summer I wanted to try and make a cocktail that's basically a caprese salad in a glass. This dirty martini variation is the result.
