A few days ago I hit 1000 followers.  I know it's not really a big deal in the grand scheme of things but it really makes me happy to be able to share what I'm passionate about with 1000 other people out there and to learn from you all as well.  I just wanted to say thank you to all of you for giving me that opportunity. ⁣

2.25oz @thekyotodistillery Ki No Bi Gin⁣

.75 oz Junmai Sake⁣

1 scant barspoon luxardo⁣

infuse all with persimmon and asian pear for 2 days. Strain through cheesecloth. Stir and strain. Serve up. ⁣

This months @homebarawards challenge is whole cocktail infusions. I wanted to work with some unfamiliar ingredients so I decided on sake and persimmon. The result is this take on the sake-tini. It's strong, fruity, and has a light sweetness to it from the sake and fruit infusions. I named the drink after Mothra's theme song in the old Godzilla movies. ⁣
