This is a simple negroni-style drink substituting Stappi Bitter Red Soda for Campari to make it a long drink. It's a bit sweeter and lighter than a standard negroni which makes it great for summertime day-drinking. 30ml Gin (@beefeatergin ) 30ml Sweet Vermouth (@giuliococchi Vermouth di Torino) 90ml @stappi_it Bitter Red soda build, stir, garnish with orange peel or slice. Stappi is one of many brands of bitter Italian sodas which have a flavor similar to campari. Personally I avoid San Pellegrino products due to their association with Nestle. However, they make numerous bitter sodas including Sanbitter Red, which would be a good substitute if you can't find Stappi. There are tons italian brands making awesome bitter sodas so check a local Italian/Mediterranean grocery store and see what you find!
