First day in Montreal and I found liquid gold. Dieu du Ciel is temporary closed for renovations @beergeekspeaks but Messorem is a must visit for everyone visiting Montreal. Tried A Tout Jamais, a DIPA and it was such an easy 4.5, so my expectations were sky high. Avant L'enfer did not disappoint in the slightest. rich and thick chocolate fudge, vanilla and bourbon on the nose. texture is crazyyyy, viscous, syruppy and full bodied. sweet, vanilla, chocolate, brown sugar followed by honey on the tail end. Coconut is fairly missing for me but that's probably just me.

Just a super well done BBA stout and I am so god damn impressed!!!! Genuinely think this is hard to beat so I am excited for what's to come in Montreal!!!
