Tl;dr I’ve converted and now worship at the Church of Omnipollo.
I am stunned by how much flavour Henok at Omnipollo has managed to cram into this beer. Can we even call it beer? If we don’t regard this moderately alcoholic beverage as beer, then what is it?
Classification aside, this is quite a ride from start to finish: it pours opaque black but through some feat of brewing alchemy an incongruously pink head forms; the nose presents you all the flavours listed in the name, and then there they all are again on the palate. The best part is just how drinkable this is even as it warms up — the tartness and sweetness keeping each other in check so that it never gets too much.
I must confess that I bought this a while back, left it in my fridge and forgot about it; my can was very much past its best by date. But it tasted just fine.
Sampling Omnipollo’s offerings is an expensive hobby here in +65, but knowing what I Noa now, it’s going to be well worth.
