Fruited Sour Ale with Apricot | ABV 5.5%
Pours a cloudy yellow, actually tastes more like a gose than a fruited sour. Aromas of the seeds of stone fruits. Has a middle note of cooling mint, perhaps a mix of peppermint & spearmint, sweet and sharp but doesn't linger. This is a citrusy zesty and refreshing sour ale. I feel like this taste profile leans more towards the peel of an apricot than the flesh of the fruit, but I love it nonetheless! I'd mistake this for the sour version of a mimosa, serve this in a flute at brunch and no one will know :p
My father's unfiltered review:
"Eh? Got salt leh why ah. The end is a bit salty. At least this sour isn't that overpowering like your other sours. Reminds me of pomelo."
My mother's unfiltered review:
"Orange juice ah? Tastes like orange, sour like South African oranges. Citrusy lor."
