It’s a wheat beer, Jim, but not as we know it. Duration advertises this as containing heritage malt and buckwheat, but to be honest with you I can’t tell the difference that it makes. YMMV

What you will DEFINITELY notice is the effect that fermenting the wort in Duration’s coolship has had on this beer’s aroma: it is enjoyably funky. Like, funky in the way that I like lambics and saisons to be, yet the taste is that of a typical competently-made Belgian wit.

If you already enjoy witbiers and want to push the envelope with something a little wilder, this will be right up your alley. Experienced funksters will appreciate the nose but find it a bit tame on the palate. Beer Clan still has this in stock at time of writing, so why not give it a go?
