Dank Mechanism | North Park Beer Co. × ISM Brewing
DDH West Coast IPA | ABV 7.0%
At first pour, you instantly get *snap* an absolutely delicious aroma, this might be my new favourite West Coast IPA! The bright gold clarity beckoned me instead of scaring me away, like all the other clear malty IPAs had.
Super crisp, super clean, sweet pine, subtle malt, chewy stickiness at the back and finishes dry. A bubblegum profile I'd say. As it warms up, the back gets slightly more intense (and aggressive) in the pine element, finishing off a lil spicy. Not as dank as I thought it would be, but real crushable 🙂↔️
Pat & I debated on which type of berry we detected at the end, something like (but still not entirely); holly berries. Probably part of the winter berries family, just unsure which specific species.
Featured hops: Mosaic, Rakau & Riwaka
