Double Dry-Hopped Pliny the Elder by Russian River Brewing

Double Dry-Hopped Pliny the Elder - Russian River Brewing
Style: DIPA
By @russianriverbrewingofficial , Santa Rosa, California, USA 🇺🇸
ABV: 8%
My rating: 4.8/5
The classic, iconic and wonderful Pliny in his original recipe with and added 2 step double dry-hop (DDH) process.
Canned on May 30, hence just 3 weeks old, very aromatic, with a lot of pine, grapefruit and some caramel maltiness. Very clean.
Clear deep golden, visible ascending carbonation, creamy head with high retention and lacing.
Tastes bitter, clean, where its malty backbones with notes of mild caramel serve as a launching platform for the hop flavours, which provide the most classic West Coast goodness of pine, grapefruit, tropical notes and dank basement. Low sweetness with lingering bitterness.
Crisp beside its size, medium body and lively carbonation, very pleasant to the palate.
A masterpiece of IPA as usual, there shouldn't be need to say it.
