Heart of Darkness, Director's Cacao Nib Porter

ORIGIN: Vietnam
ABV: 6.3%
VOL: 330
STYLE: Porter infused with cacao nibs

Deep brown to black pour with no haziness. Strident coffee aroma, with roasted cereal malt. Tad too alcoholic on the tip of the tongue, which masked the flavours initially. Dark chocolate with a hint of cherry and blackberry. The berry flavours fade as it warms in the glass, and are replaced with toasty malts. Long smooth finish, with mild bitterness.

A smooth elegant porter with great clarity of flavour. I would not hesitate to buy another bottle.
