Honey Bourbon Barrel Aged Xenomorph Blood, Sour, Corporate Ladder Brewing Company

From the get-go, you can smell the beer halfway across the table once its poured. Remember the smell of ricola or lakerol sweets when you open the box? That's exactly it. On a closer sniff, rich peach gummies that's not overwhelmingly sweet. Taste is dominated by peach gummies, before it transitions into pineapples in the mid palate. Somewhere deep in there and after I read the label, you can also taste the apricot and pears, but not so much the mangoes. The beer finishes in a mellow honey/traditional mead finish. No hints of bourbon for me but I suspect it contributed to its full body and pureed texture.

12% ABV but felt like I just drank a green smoothie.

Beer is green, delicious and stains the glass exactly how you imagine xenomorph blood would. A must try for anyone!
