Kingsway Stout, Glen Affric Brew

Kingsway Stout Glen Affric Brew

If having "barrel-aged", "bourbon" and "maple" in the tasting notes didn't give you an idea of what to expect here then the 14.6% abv certainly should have. This is almost halfway between a dark rich stout and a whisky, amazingly smooth for the strength, there's notes of vanilla, bourbon and molasses. The warmth is undeniable and although there's no harsh kick of alcohol, this is think enough to drink with a spoon.

Got this one from the brewery stand @brew_ldn , such a great event! I am gonna miss beer festival when London lockdown. Keep safe and stay healthy everyone!
