Mistletoe Kiss White Beer

Yet another cool event inspired/based beer from Brewerkz. Introduced back in 2019, I believe it was a rerun for the same event - Christmas Wonderland, that took place in Gardens by the Bay.

Not sure for anyone else who went there but I had a terrible experience at the event with my family due to the poor management of how they handled the double storey venetian carousel queue and the payment method of the ride tickets. This was worsen by the heavy rain with literally no shelter available at the event. But..... this white ale is a good beer..... (sorry for the rants above)

In my opinion, if you think about Christmas beers, we would usually think about darker brews like stouts and porters. These are the beers that would warm your body up during the cold weather and somewhat like a substitute for a hot chocolate or coffee while snugged in a blanket looking out of the window while it snows (or rains in this case).

Brewerkz was quite bold to pick a wheat beer instead. This Bavarian white beer poured with a darkish pale yellow body, moderately carbonated, pretty low in terms of bitterness (actual IBU of 10). It was mildly sour initially and intensifies at higher temperatures but still relatively easy to drink. It's definitely more on the malty end of the scale and has a little flora note on the nose.
